SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE

Dear Holy Trinity Church Family,

I hope this message finds everyone doing well.

As chair of the Search Committee, I wanted to give you an update on where we are in our search for our next Rector. I know some of you may have hoped to hear from us sooner, and I appreciate your patience. As we heard in this past weekend’s sermon, we are practicing patience!

Our committee is working hard and taking this responsibility seriously. We are reviewing candidate profiles, having discussions, and prayerfully considering who might be the right fit for Holy Trinity. We want to be thoughtful in this process and not rush into a decision just to fill the position.

As many of you know, there are more than 15 congregations in the Diocese of Mississippi looking for clergy leadership. We are not alone in this process, and we recognize that finding the right person takes time.

The good news is that we do have candidates we are reviewing, and we are encouraged by the possibilities. While I cannot give you a timeline just yet, please know that the committee is actively working and moving forward.

In the meantime, please continue to pray for our committee and for the person God may be calling to serve as our next Rector. Your prayers and support mean a great deal to us.

I also want to remind everyone that we are in the middle of our stewardship campaign. As we look toward welcoming our next Rector, it is important that we consider the financial commitment that comes with that leadership, along with the many other ministries that make Holy Trinity such a special place. If you have not yet submitted your pledge card, please take a few moments to do so and keep the future of our parish in mind.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and continued support. I am grateful to be part of this congregation and to serve with such a dedicated committee. We will continue to keep you informed as the search progresses.
