It is said that about 50% of the population is likely to not see their candidate win the election this year. The polls are very tight on this year’s election and the rhetoric has been pretty difficult to hear. Fortunately, following the election we will be spared some political commercials (can I have a Alleluia), but we do not know what the day after the election and the post-election season will bring us. Bishop +Dorothy has encouraged all churches in the diocese to consider opening on the day after the election to pray for peace and unity in the nation. We will follow her advice.

We will also simply have the church open so that you can pray privately. Fr. Rick+ will also be available in his office (provided he is not called away for a pastoral emergency) to speak with anyone about any issues which may be troubling them.
